DESCRIPTION:COLLABORATIVE RELIEF PRINT WORKSHOP\n\nJuly 10 @ 9:00 am - 2:00 pm\n\n$35.00   $55.00\n \n\nPrintmaking is inherently a collaborative process and many hands make light work. Join us to make a large-scale relief print formed from our individual contributions. Each participant will create at least one 5  x 5  linoleum block. Prior to the workshop\, a theme will be shared for participants to plan their designs. No previous printmaking experience is necessary. Ages 16+ (*Note: Taken in a series or individually\, this workshop plus Crash Course in Chine Coll  and Monotype Workshop are a great way to learn a new skill to build or begin your printmaking toolkit.)\n\nAbout the instructor: Annika Earley makes drawings and prints about transformation\, in-between states\, and the experience of being a woman and parent. Born and raised near Basel\, Switzerland\, she often uses Swiss and German folktales as reference points in her work.\n\nEarley holds an MFA from Maine College of Art & Design and an M.Phil from College of the Atlantic. She has been a resident at the Ellis-Beauregard Foundation in Rockland\, ME\, Hewnoaks Artist Colony in Lovell\, ME\, Monson Arts in Monson\, ME\, Pace House Residency in Stonington\, ME\, the Walkaway House in North Adams\, MA\, and at the Burren College of Art in Ballyvaughan\, Ireland. She has been supported by the St. Botolph Foundation in Boston\, MA\, the New York Foundation for the Arts\, The Albert K\, Murray Fund\, and SPACE Gallery's American Rescue Plan Grant.
