SUMMARY:Collagraph Printmaking
DESCRIPTION:COLLAGRAPH PRINTMAKING\n\n\nJuly 12 @ 10:00 am - 3:00 pm EDT\n$85.00 $115.00\n\n\n\nCollagraph printmaking employs both relief and intaglio print making techniques. By combining these techniques different tonal effects and color intensity can be achieved. Printing can be done with and without a press making the process easy to duplicate in a home studio space. All materials supplied. No advanced preparation is necessary. All levels welcomed.\n\n\n\nAbout the instructor: Karin Otto has been bringing her background in arts administration\, teaching\, and fine arts to Waterfall Arts since 2012. Using a variety of print making techniques\, Karin's work reflects the repetitive patterns of organic shapes and forms found in the natural world. As a long-time contributor to Waterfall Arts\, Karin has curated and produced gallery exhibitions\, coordinated events\, taught classes and workshops\, assisted with program planning\, and manages the Kennedy Press. In 2021\, Karin participated as a Mentor in Printmaking for the Maine Crafts Association Craft Apprentice Program (CAP).
