Class size is limited to include all skill levels. If you have absolutely no experience\, want a refresher class to re-familiarize yourself with techniques\, or want an introduction to working in our green studio\, this is a great class for anyone! After attending this class\, students will be equipped to work in the Waterfall Arts Print Studio on their own. We will cover plate and paper preparation\, application of ground\, line etching techniques\, and use of our etching press. This class will be offered 4 times in July. Build your skills\, take all four\, and save a little on the bundle! \n\nAbout the Instructor: MF Morison hails from the west coast where she was primarily known as a metalsmith\, apprenticing under Stieg Gusterman (Georgetown\, CO) and Thomas Schlicting (Amsterdam). Using acid etch in many processes\, she continued to explore this medium\, resulting in attending S.F. Art Institute\, studying printmaking under the tutelage of Michi Itami. While in SF\, MF also worked out of U.C. Berkeley Open Studio and Fort Mason Print Department. Upon her arrival to Midcoast Maine\, MF shelved printmaking for a time until she became aware of the Waterfall Arts Printmaking Studio.
