SUMMARY:Printmaking II
DESCRIPTION:PRINTMAKING II builds on the three core printmaking methods covered in Printmaking I and adds more tools to your kit. In this class\, we will cover stencil silkscreening\, reduction relief\, as well as hard and soft-ground etching. Over the course of six weeks\, you will learn how to create a variety of images\, advanced composition\, and how to use printmaking equipment including etching presses\, relief cutting tools\, copper plate grounds\, oil and soy-based inks\, and more. This class is designed to be a companion course to Printmaking I and we recommend you take Printmaking I or have prior experience with the methods before signing up for this class. If you wish to take this class multiple times\, more advanced techniques can be introduced. Class meets: April 3\, 10\, 17\, 24\, May 1 and 8\n\nAnyone enrolled in Printmaking I or II is eligible for a reduced rate for Community Print hours   currently offered on Friday and Saturday afternoons   for the duration of the class. Choose the "student rate" when registering for a spot in one of these sessions.
