Introduction to Immersion Dyeing and Eco Printing

In this gentle and fun workshop, we will learn the basics of seasonal natural dye! With flowers blooming and bursting, summer is a wonderful time to play with the process of coaxing color from plants onto fabric. Together, we will learn the entire process, from mordanting fiber, to building a dye bath, to making resists and eco-printing. Participants will leave with a naturally dyed bandana and the skills to experiment with dyeing at home. Beginners warmly welcome.
