Make a Ceramic Mug

In this 4-week workshop, students will make their own unique mug for coffee or tea. A mug is the most basic pottery form—a cylinder with a handle. Discover the form and the refinements of the shape: is your mug curvy or straight-sided? Learn how to throw the form, add a handle, and make it special with decorative glazes, embellishments, or a message on the side. No prior experience required.
