We’re so happy to invite you to an exhibition that invites reflection and connection— Shapes and Spaces, a new solo exhibition by the incredibly thoughtful and talented Shannon Westphal.
 
Shannon lives and works on Mount Desert Island, and her work captures the quiet beauty of the world around her — from reflective horizons and wide shorelines to a few surprise cityscapes that are making their first appearance in this show. Her style is minimalist but deeply emotional, using color, light, and atmosphere to reflect the landscapes that ground her (and many of us).
 
“Observing every detail, every shift in light, every subtle movement” — that’s how Shannon describes her process. You can really feel that care and calm in each piece.
 
We’re opening the show with a reception on Saturday, July 12 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM, and we’d love for you to stop by. You’ll get to meet Shannon, enjoy some refreshments, and spend a little time with artwork that feels like a breath of fresh air.

The show will be up through August 9, so if you can’t make the opening, we hope you’ll drop in another time.
