Playdate with a Sketchbook

Have you ever bought a brand-new sketchbook and then you were afraid to "ruin" it? Or said to yourself, "I don't know what to do with the beautiful art supplies that I have collected"? This beginner course will explore stress-free techniques to build your skills and confidence while creating art in a sketchbook with paints, drawing tools and a variety of papers.
 
Bring a sketchbook of your choice. (We recommend a sketchbook with paper that is labeled for mixed media use or at least a paper of 98 pound weight. A standard size of 5.5 by 8.5 inches makes it more manageable and portable). All other materials will be supplied, but feel free to bring in any of your favorite writing tools, paints, glue sticks or papers to include in your sketchbook.
