Turtle Back Rescue and Rehab Presentation
Aug. 19 at 12:30 p.m., at the Belfast Senior Center there will be a special presentation by Turtle Back Rescue and Rehab—a state-permitted wildlife rehabilitation facility in Waldoboro, ME, specializing in the care of injured or sick native turtles. Learn what to do if you encounter an injured turtle, a snapping turtle, or a baby turtle, and get your questions answered by an expert who truly knows and cares. Rescue, Rehabilitate, Release learn all about it. Turtle’s Back Inc. is a non-profit dedicated to the protection and recovery of Maine’s turtle populations.
This free program will be presented at the Belfast Boathouse, 34 Commercial St., Belfast, and is open to area seniors. While you're here, enjoy games, puzzles, a free lunch provided by the Belfast Soup Kitchen (sign-up by 11:15), and great company from 10-3.
