Waterfall Arts Season Kickoff

Waterfall Arts throws open its doors for a season kickoff event on the first Friday in June. There will be a solo exhibition opening featuring Hope artist Karen Olson in the gallery, as well as an immersive All Ages Art Happening “Stories Aglow: A Night of Shadow Puppet Theatre” on the front lawn. All four community studios (printmaking, ceramics, photography darkroom, and glassblowing) will be open with artists and demonstrations, and the Life Drawing group will have a pop-up exhibit and live model for drop-in figure drawing. Coastal Mountains Land Trust teamed up with Waterfall Arts and will be on-site to unveil a new art experience, Art Gone WILD, while Uproot Pie Company will be selling wood-fired pizzas and beer for the event has been provided by friends and sponsors at Marshall Wharf Brewing. 5pm-8pm at 256 High Street in Belfast. waterfallarts.org for more information about the party you won't want to miss at your community art center.
